I'm brom ecuador, I bought my savage 87 tree years ago, and after tree months lost the starter gear clutch
(big and small-double)finally one year later I can replace them, two moths ago I the problen again, both new clutch are ok, but the teeth on starter shaft are broken.
I would like to Know if is there a way to repair the teeth on the shaft, but I mean a good repair.
someone told the price for a new starter is around $400 usd. and a second hand @$200 usd., but is not very easy get parts for a savage here.
